TODAY. I'll be nice. Lol. I'll share with you guys some beauty tips. (: These are what I've read up on and what I've learnt from my beauty therapist. Today, I'll talk about HAIR CARE. I know girls love their hair. Having beautiful hair is like one of the most important grooming component. First and foremost...DO NOT scrub your scalp too much or too roughly. You will begin to see white flakes on your scalp. This may eventually lead to dandruff problems. DO NOT and NEVER condition your scalp. You might also want to know that you should never brush wet hair, scrub hair dry with a towel or bleach your hair! DO NOT use hair shampoos with the ingredient Sodium Laureth Sulphate OR Sodium Lauryl Sulphate. Concentrations as low as 0.5% could cause irritation and concentrations of 10-30% can cause skin corrosion and severe irritations. This chemical will stay on your scalp, clog your hair pores and eventually, cause hair to drop. It is also HIGHLY corrosive. Try using a portion of your hair shampoo and rub it on any bags with prints. Like NTUC bags or S&S bags. You'll get what I mean. Imagine that as your scalp and hair. To avoid split ends, fly-away strands you may want to do this: upon waking, use the back of your hand and run fingers through hair to remove snarls and tangles. Girls who are always irritated with messed up or unwanted hair conditions after waking up can put hair up to sleep. Hair should be put in a ponytail on top of the head. Always use rubberbands that are rapped in cloth, commonly known as "scrunchies". Also, do air dry your hair whenever possible. If you have the need to blow-dry your hair, you can always buy hair-dryers which emit normal temperature air instead of hot air. You must condition your hair at least once a week. Lastly, love your hair! Hair has energy and spirit just like every other part of your body and it responds better to kindness and love than neglect and anger. If you hate your hair and ignore it, it will be like a flower that you don't water. It will wilt and die. (:
